A loose collection of things off to the side of the CV.

I moved around quite a bit growing up, and later got to travel professionally as a flight attendant, right before grad school. I didn't plan any of it, but looking back, getting to see so much of the world turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to me, and I'm forever grateful for that. The best part was always the people, and I made some genuinely lifelong friends along the way, through the most random events and coincidences, the kind that still check in on me years later.

Somewhere along the way I also became a hopeless photo hoarder. I've learned to live with the iCloud "storage full" warning, my phone is constantly cluttered, but I still snap a photo of pretty much every moment and love looking back at them later. I barely exist on social media, so most of these have only ever lived on my phone, until now.

These days I try to fly less, largely out of concern for its environmental impact. Climate change feels undeniably tangible now, and it's something I think about a lot these days. It's heartbreaking to see how much some places have changed, they don't feel the same. Below are some of those moments I hoarded along the way.

Been on a bit of a movie kick lately. The Odyssey was really good, and I finally caught the new Spider Man too (still not sure how I feel about it). Watched Nowhere Special on a whim and cried hysterically. Absolutely wrecked me, in the best way.

Watching a lot of police body cam footage and listening to live ATC audio lately, don't ask why. Somehow I find it interesting, though I've spent way more time on it than I probably should.

Reading a lot of speculative fiction between deadlines, trying (and mostly failing) to keep a sourdough starter alive, and slowly working through my list of national parks — still need to actually write that list down properly.
